Mara Lindqvist

Mara Lindqvist is a visual artist based in Copenhagen working across photography, sculpture and digital image making. Her practice moves between stillness and unease, treating the frame as a place to slow down rather than explain. Over the past eight years her work has moved through still life, portraiture and generative image making, shown independently and through collaborations with publishers and cultural institutions across Europe. Each piece begins the same way, by removing until only what matters remains.
